Guided walk Friday 4th November

Sorry for the lack of walks recently and the short notice for this one. I have been taking it easy for walks after spraining my ankle a few months ago but it seems to be recovering now. Also the forecast for Friday was poor but now seems to be improving so…… Slieau Dhoo and Slieau Freoaghane from Tholty Will. Two summits we have visited before but from the other side allowing a nice walk up through the plantation and a visit to a lovely tholtan and then a return via a little used (boggy!) footpath, beechwood and the far side of Sulby Reservoir. A lovely walk, 11km 500m of ascent taking between three and four hours.

Meet at 10am on Friday morning at the Tholty Will carpark, back by 2pm at the latest. Bring waterproofs and wear good footwear to keep your feet dry on the boogy section.

Please let me know if you are coming.

£15 per walker.
